Welcome

Tim Berger with a saxophone

Tim from HornHire loves his music and has been involved in the music industry in one form or another all his life.

Tim  established HornHire, partly because of his love of wind instruments,  but mainly because he wanted to give everyone the opportunity to learn a  musical instrument without having to purchase one outright. He understands such an outlay can be difficult to finance, especially if it is for a child or student who is still deciding which instrument they would like to pursue.

Hiring  an instrument gives the student the chance to really see if this is something they really want to do before making a commitment to buy.  The  instrument that is hired can be purchased using up to a year's worth of hire fees. The amount paid in that time is simply deducted from the purchase price.

You can choose  to hire an instrument for a year, or pay by the term (conditions apply).
Tim also has many years of experience repairing and servicing instruments,  so you can rest assured that each instrument is in perfect working order  and tested to  the highest of standards before being delivered to you.

The Saxophone

Did you know that  although most saxophones are made from brass  they are still categorised  as woodwind instruments because the sound is produced by an oscillating reed
